COMITE DEPARTEMENTAL DE PLONGEE

About us
Operation Neptune on the 6th June 1944 was the greatest naval operation in history. It resulted however in a huge deposit of wrecked ships which now lie off the Calvados coast and provide hours of fascinating exploration for divers. These artificial reefs provide a sheltered habitat for the lush underwater flora and fauna of the English Channel, allowing divers greater insight into marine biology and photography. Activities are not solely restricted to diving however as snorkelling, target practice and archaeology classes are also offered.
